Goodbye Tucson!

After 5 months, I left the Voyager RV Resort in Tucson today. Before leaving Tucson I stopped at Lazydays RV in Tucson for my appointment to have the protective window covers replaced under warranty.

The job was finished about 10:30 this morning so I hit the highway:) In the event it took them all day to replace the rock guards, I made reservations at the Cochise Terrace RV Park in Benson, AZ tonight; will drive to Las Cruces tomorrow.

Typical of spring, the winds are picking up. I remember the strong winds from last year around this time. In reviewing my log book, I see that I was in Las Cruces last year on April 1st:)

Front of the Airstream showing protective glass (called Rockguard); made of plexiglass I think. The center piece was ok but the two side panels cracked so Airstream replaced them under warranty - no charge.
