Korean food

Falling in love with Korean food:) everywhere I go (including temples) the food is great; lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. It's hard to be a true vegetarian in Korea (forget about being vegan) especially when one doesn't know the language:) kimchi (kinda like a served with every meal, but some of my favorite dishes are Korean pancakes, persimmons, brown rice, and the variety of soups. Given it is fall, I've had several very good pumpkin/squash soups and my favorite local fruit is the huge persimmon.
