Dinner at Parc restaurant in Seoul. Was a bit worried when I walked in about 5 minutes after they opened and had to wait for a table; based on the wait, I'd say they are discovered, at least by the young; I'm the only person over 25:) trendy crowd.
Started with about 1 tbsp of cucumber and red onion; called this appetizer salad; tasted mostly of vinegar but good to start with veggies. I ordered the Panfried Deodeok with black rice.
Scene reminds me of when I was mostly interested in what I looked like and what people thought of me. Only difference now is that young people can stare into their phones to avoid those awkward moments or eye contact:)
Food was ok; best was the side of fried squid; free refills on side dishes is nice. Meal appeared to be relatively healthy although I Probably should have ordered the spicy option.
