Found this recipe for homemade granola (
http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/crunchy-granola-recipe). Includes a lot of healthy stuff but I reduced oil and sugar by half and it still came out tasty. Store-bought granola typically has a lot of calories, sugar, and fat in it and its easy to understand why when one makes their own. Still, I was able to reduce sugar and oil (substituted unsweetened apple sauce for 1/2 of oil) by 1/2 of what the recipe called for. For the dried fruit, I added goji berries, prunes, apricots, raisons, and cranberries.
I like to add fresh fruit (blueberries in this case) and Greek, nonfat, plain yogurt to my granola:)
