Muesli Recipe

As the weather warms I'm switching from hot (Bob's Red Mill) muesli to my homemade muesli recipe (still a work in progress) soaked overnight in 1c milk and 100 grams of Greek Plain Non-Fat yogurt. Typically topped with berries of some sort and a banana (I didn't add a banana this morning as they were destined for banana nut bread:)


  • Rolled oats
  • Chia seed
  • Hemp hearts
  • Red bulgur
  • Unsweetened shredded coconut 
  • Pumpkin seed
  • Oat bran
  • Malted wheat flakes
  • Black sesame seeds
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Chopped walnuts
It's power (and calorie and fat) packed so I only have 35g each morning. Soon it will be warm enough for smoothies:)

Blackberries top my homemade muesli soaked in 1% milk and plain, non-fat Greek yogurt!
